Jakarta is developing a broad civil litigation practice. A thoughtful and dedicated advocate, Jakarta approaches client matters with focus and care.

Jakarta joins the team after serving as Law Clerk to the Honourable Justice Azmudeh of the Federal Court from 2024 to 2025, where she assisted in administrative, immigration and commercial matters. Prior to that, Jakarta articled with Alberta Justice, gaining courtroom experience and building a strong foundation in litigation, particularly in civil, criminal prosecution, and surrogate court matters.

Jakarta received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2023. During law school, she participated in multiple moots, including the Laskin, as well as the MacIntyre and Sopinka Cup competitions, where her team placed second and third, respectively.

Jakarta is also fluent in French.
